LEGSBY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Together, the pupils of Legsby and I designed, developed and built sculptures using natural materials that we installed along a footpath in Legsby woods near Market Rasen, Lincoln.

The 'Spider' has eight foot long legs that the pupils wove in willow, then covered in mud and woodland undergrowth; the body was planted with honeysuckle, giving the structure a transient life.

Three 'Butterflies' were built on the pupils designs and placed hanging through trees to mark the route of the walk.
